Implementing a Reporting API Integration
Reporting API integration allows you to download event, demographic, and transaction data in formatted reports from the Payment Gateway.
- Event reports
An event report includes records of gateway usage and events on merchant profile configuration of interest to you. - Demographic reports
A demographics report is a snapshot of your merchants' configuration, including general contact information, privilege and service activation dates, and the status of the merchants' acquirer links. - Transaction reports
A transaction report is a detailed record of transactions initiated via Direct API or Merchant Administration, or submitted as part of a batch file.
To request a report, you submit a formatted HTTPS GET request to the Payment Gateway — the report is returned as a CSV file. The report request contains an MSO ID; the returned Web Services report only contains records for merchants of that MSO. Event and Demographic reports are only generated for a merchant's production profile.
Column values in a report are only returned in English, but the column headers can be in any language. Contact the Payment Gateway for complete details on the contents of Web Services reports and how they could be used for your analysis and billing requirements.
To be able to download reports, you must have May Configure Reporting API Integration Settings privilege. This will enable you to generate the password for the Reporting API API in Merchant Manager.
